Feng Shui guides us into a choice of colours and shapes which give a harmonious feel to a room.
Within those guidelines it allows for a very wide range of tastes and styles, so in most rooms the Feng Shui features are camouflaged amongst everyday objects.
In this room everything is fulfilling a Feng Shui purpose, with little extra.
This room is positioned in the north which represents business and the decorations are themed in shades of blue to harmonize with the water element of the north.
The wooden surfaces in the room help to absorb any excess water which may otherwise damp down business.
The metallic gold curtains help to further enhance business.
The storage unit in the lower right of the photo was designed by Sue Doughty and commissioned with auspicious Feng Shui dimensions to provide storage facilities in beneficial areas of the room (to be used to enhance projects and relationships).
It was designed with curves to harmonize with the north water element and constructed from wood to harmonize with the floor surfaces.
The columnar water feature at the rear left of the room was positioned to enhance wealth, using secret formulas known to only a handful of Feng Shui Masters. Positioning within the building (not just the room) is crucial to within a foot or so in each direction.
