Feng Shui - Our Services - Thorough Assessment

We have found that the best way to help you get the benefits from feng shui is to carry out a thorough assessment of why the building and its surroundings are having the effects they are, from there we can advise you on what changes to make, why and how effective they are likely to be. (Many consultants take the quicker route of calculating a few formulas (sometimes only Flying Star), make their recommendations based on that and hoping for the best they leave you to it.)

In arriving at our conclusions we take into account such things as :-

• The position and design of adjacent buildings and their surrounds
• The shapes, directions and locations of roads, rivers, trees and nearby hills
• Street furniture
• The position and direction that your plot of land faces
• The entrances and exits to the plot of land
• The landscaping, paths and other features (such as water) within the plot of land
• The position and direction your building faces
• The shape of the building and its construction
• The position, direction and style of doors and windows, especially main entrances and exits
• Entrance areas, hall ways, stairs, lifts and corridors
• Any protruding or missing areas
• Areas above pillars, car parks, garages etc.
• The location of important rooms (such as the bedroom in a house or the chairman's office in a business) and the location of people within them
• The location of toilets, bathrooms & washrooms
• The location of kitchens
• The interior decor and design, lighting and floor coverings
• The positioning of people, objects and functions within individual rooms and within the building
• The design of key areas for business’s such as the reception area, sales and display areas
• Clutter
• The dates, times and places of birth of key people (used to calculate Lo Shu, BaZi Horoscope and/or Hexagrams according to the needs of the situation and the interactions between these and everything else)
