Feng Shui -  at Home

One of the primary ways in which we can influence the feng shui which in turn influences us, is to improve the feng shui of our home.

If we live in a home (either house or apartment) which has beneficial Feng Shui we feel much more comfortable and do much better than if our home has harmful Feng Shui.

Home interiors which conform to the precepts of good Feng Shui in terms of shape, colour and positioning generally feel much nicer than those which do not.

That’s how many people in the West have come to regard Feng Shui as a type of home interior design.

Unfortunately many of these people fail to realise that they are barely scratching the surface of what feng shui could be doing for them, because in reality Feng Shui has far greater potential than merely helping our home to feel nice (although it does that very well).

Feng Shui has been used in the home to improve such things as wealth and careers, find new partners, start families, help children to study, improve family harmony and later in life to support and improve our health so that we can enjoy the wealth which we’ve accumulated over the years. In short, feng shui at home can be used to influence just about every aspect of our lives.

Also, making such improvements to our home is not that difficult either (or at least it usually doesn’t have to be). Much can be accomplished by judicious choice of colours for the decorations and/or furnishings in our home and moving people, photographs, money, paperwork relating to; finances, careers, studies etc. into auspicious locations within the individual rooms and parts our home as a whole.

If there are adverse influences in the immediate surroundings of our home, their effects can often be reduced or blocked entirely with quite simple and inexpensive measures.

If we have a garden round our home (such as the house in the photo) it’s often possible to bring about large improvements in wealth by the judicious positioning of suitably designed water features out in the garden.

The key to the whole thing is knowing what in your home to move and where (and in some cases when) to move it, to help achieve the effects which you are seeking - which is where the professional practitioner can be of use.
